Professional Experience:
Suzanne’s 35 years of experience in the green industry began throughout her college years working in nurseries and garden centers, floral design and cut flower production.  She started  her first company in Dallas, Texas in 1981 and owned and operated Florascapes until 1990 which included landscape design, installation, maintenance, interiorscapes, and a retail nursery. Suzanne continued her career working for North Texas based landscape companies for the next nineteen years in landscape department management, sales, construction, cost estimating, project planning and scheduling, contract documentation, design and installation. She joined Turner Landscape, Inc. in May of 2009 as landscape department manager.  Her design specialties include Texas native, seaside and water-wise plantings with extensive horticulture and plant variety knowledge. Her professional experience includes residential and commercial planning, design, and installation as well as arboretum and park design, installation and management.  Suzanne has been an active member in TNLA (Texas Nursery and Landscape Association) for 29 years and served as Chairman of the Dallas Region in 2002.  She has also served on the board of directors and advisory board for the White Rock Lake Foundation for over 20 years.  This foundation has been instrumental in park development and improvements to White Rock Lake and White Rock Lake Park, Dallas, Texas.
